A Little Bit About Me
Hey there :)
I believe it’s necessary to build a trusting relationship between me, your Tarot reader, and you, my client. After all, we’re going to be navigating the world of the Tarot together and that’s a lot of trust that you need to have in me. How can you trust me if you don’t know me? So today, I wanted to share some random facts about myself that will allow you to get to know me a bit better.
I work best with to do lists that are time blocked. Some examples of these include:
8am: wake up, shower, wash face, brush teeth, floss, put on real clothes.
830am: coffee and 3 card tarot practice combinations (keeps my brain sharp!)
9am-11am: blog/podcasting/emails/study tarot
You get the idea! It helps me follow a routine and a routine is exactly what I need during a quarantine.
I follow intermittent fasting. I usually fast anywhere from 14-16 hours every day. I love it so much. It keeps my mind clear, good energy throughout the day, and keeps me from late-night snacking.
Other people would describe me as goal oriented, determined, with a smile on her face most days. I give off a quiet, calming presence, and I dress with a hint of a preppy-90s look. I wish I was more grungy, but unfortunately, it’s not me. I like the high-waisted jeans-and-a-tucked-in-tee look. I’ll throw on a cardigan and a beanie to make my grunge side feel included, though.
My top 5 most listened to bands on Spotify of 2019 were:
I’m adding this one here because I also love Mattiel
I’m currently loving the monthly playlists that The Row has been putting together.
If you’re dying to hear more, here are some things you may not know about me:
I have two cats, Luna (after Luna Lovegood) and Albus (after Albus Dumbledore). Albus has 3 legs but a heart of gold <3
I work as a costumer in the film/television industry. I love, love, love my job, but Tarot is my passion. I often take my cards to work and pull for the cast and crew during our lunch breaks.
I grew up in a haunted house on a cattle-breeding farm in North Carolina. I had a pet cow named Oreo and a horse named Raleigh.
I’m half Brazilian and can half-speak Portuguese (hey, I’m working on it). I was a foreign-exchange student at my Aunt & Uncle’s house in Brazil during a semester of high school. I recommend everyone to do this because I have never felt so alone, yet so strong after that experience.
My dad passed away when I was 13 and I truly think that that trauma changed me to my core. I had to grow up really quickly and was forced to discover the good in the world when I couldn’t see it.
You’re still here! Great, let’s connect <3 If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at coffeecuptarot@gmail.com.
