Connect with your Cards with this Tarot Activity

how to read tarot

First step is to get out your current favorite deck. My favorite deck, hands down, is the Light Seers Tarot by Chris-Anne! They are so full of symbolism and very much based off the history of RWS Tarot deck; I’m obsessed.

Ok next you are going to just look at all the cards, one by one and search for a card that just feels so happy and wonderful and inspiring and like a big ole yes!
It can be minor or major, it doesn’t matter. Just pick one!

That for me is the sun; so much positivity, clarity, and vibrancy!

Next you want to flip through all the cards again and search for the one that makes you uncomfortable, cautious, worried, like a cloud has come over you—a big no thank you.

That’s 100% the devil card for me!

These cards will be your yes and no cards whenever you pull a reading looking for specific yes and no! They also will be your guide throughout every reading, the yes card showing you you’re on track, and the no card guiding you back into alignment.

Chris-Anne calls these your light and shadow cards, the shadow card being the lesson you need to learn (ahem, the devil is the card that is missing in my other deck…surprise, no? What lesson is he trying to teach me!)

Read your guidebooks people! This activity came from Chris-Anne in the #lightseerstarot. Often there are some fun hidden gems of activities to connect with your cards lying right under your nose!

What two cards did you pick?!
