Suggested Questions to Ask the Tarot
So you want a Tarot reading but you don’t know what to ask. You’re not alone!
You can ask the Tarot anything. Tarot cards often reveal highly personal information about yourself. Please know that my readings come from a safe place of non-judgement and I’m truly here as a messenger/interpreter.
To get a good reading that resonates deep down is to get to the heart of the question. I had a client recently ask what a potential re-visit of and old relationship would look like. I did 3 spreads for her to show all the potential steps and outcomes of her actions.
I broke it down to get the most information that I could. This reading took over an hour to do. I tell you this because I strive for the most clarity for my clients.
The Tarot can’t answer yes or no questions. Some Tarot readers have come up with spreads that allow a yes/no, but I want more from the Tarot reading, I don’t want just a simple yes/no, I want the heart of the query.
Instead of asking something like, “Will I win the lottery,” try instead: “What can I do to improve my finances?"
Instead of asking, “Will I get the promotion,” try instead: “How can I advance in my career?”
Instead of asking, “Will I get the new job,” try instead: “What is blocking me from moving on in my career?” or perhaps “What do the short term and long-term aspects of my career look like?”
Instead of asking, “When will I meet my soulmate/what’s my soulmate like,” try instead, “What are some things I can improve on now to prepare me for meeting my soulmate?”
The common thread here is the word Will. Find the question that goes beyond will.
Other questions I like to explore begin with:
What might I experience if….
What do I need to know about….
Once you’ve figured out the heart of the question, expect a conversation or multiple perspectives. When I pull cards, I might have questions based on what I see and I include those in the email.
The questions aren’t necessarily for you to answer for me, but just for you to ask yourself regarding the situation.
The best part for you as the querent of the Tarot reading, is the reflection. The part that comes after you’ve read through what my interpretation may be. Let the message sink in.
Then, look at the cards in the photos attached to the email. Take note of anything that jumps out at you, that triggers a memory or reminds you of that time when…. It could be the smallest thing of a card, a color, a cloud, a flower, a light, anything like that that jumps out can be important. Feel free to email me with this information because it could unlock an incredible piece of the puzzle. I’m not a psychic, but I can interpret the conversation with the cards for you and we can go even further if you notice something that is important to you in the cards that I may not be aware of its connection to you.
